What fantastic hospitality! The owner, his wife, and their sons are incredibly sweet and super friendly people. From the very first moment, they really do their utmost to make you feel completely at ease.
The suite was really beautiful and spacious, featuring a lovely private pool. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail and simply perfect!
When we landed, he sent us a menu so we could order food immediately for arrival. And honestly: that food was extremely delicious! A fantastic welcome.
In addition, they provide the absolute best recommendations for local dining and fun activities. Their tips were spot on every single time.

Elounda Wave Suites delivered one of those rare stays where everything simply feels right. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for the entire visit: genuine, attentive, and consistently thoughtful.
Communication was effortless. Whenever we had a question or needed a recommendation, a quick message was all it took to receive an immediate, helpful reply. That sense of care shows in every detail of the property as well: the beautifully designed interior, multiple cozy seating areas on the private terrace, and all the small touches that make a stay feel elevated, from the smart TV and drying rack to the professional hairdryer with diffuser.
Breakfast was another highlight. Fresh, neatly prepared, and slightly different each morning, offering just the right amount of variety without losing its comforting rhythm.
Elounda Wave Suites is clearly created for pure relaxation and quiet enjoyment, and that’s exactly what we found there. We left feeling rested, cared for, and genuinely impressed.
We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully curated escape.

This is truly one I would recommend to everyone if you are looking for peace and relaxation. It is a beautiful, quiet, clean, and well-maintained hotel.
The staff is very friendly; the owner really took the time to calmly explain to us how everything worked, even though we didn't arrive until around midnight.
Breakfast is delicious and slightly different every day.
The view is amazing, and we made excellent use of the private pool!!!!

We had a lovely time here at Elounda Wave Suites. It started with a warm welcome from the owner Stathis.
The location itself is really great. The suites are very beautiful and completely up-to-date to modern standards, with a great private pool, luxury sunbeds and so on. The way the complex is build into lower ground level, gives it a unique vibe and also helps to maintain the temperature a bit, so it's not directly necessary to use the air-conditioning.
What is also great about the location is that it's near Elounda Town, so it's great to have a walk to Elounda to, for example, enjoy the evening, have a nice diner, drink, without directly needing a car. The walk takes about half an hour with relaxed pace.
Further of course a car is recommended to explore the beautiful Kriti island. Especially during the period we were there (28/5 - 8/6) you see flowers everywhere next to the road and further landscape.
Also not to forget regarding Elounda Wave Suites is the breakfast you get in the morning. It's delivered at your suite daily and a great way to start your day. And let's also not forget the great views from the Suites over the sea and the beautiful morning sun rises. I can really recommend getting up early and watch the sunrise or have a nice sunrise hike.
Stathis (and family), thank you again for making sure we had a great time at your place. Although our next trips will be to other parts of Greece now, we'll definitely come back to the West part of Kriti and visit you again.

Couldn’t have wished for a better hotel to explore Elounda and surroundings from. The suites are built in the mountain which helps with the heat and are so beautifully designed, truly a delight to the eye and comfortable. Such a kind owner too, it’s clear that he runs family-owned Elounda Wave Suites from the heart. Nothing short of amazing. Will definitely come back for more!

We’ve had an absolutely amazing time at Elounda Wave Suites. When we arrived we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly owner Stathis who was always willing to help and available for any questions. The room and terrace were wonderful, great design and very clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about. On the contrary, we really hope to go back someday. Can 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday here. Stathis is an exceptional host who makes you feel at home right away, while still giving you complete privacy. He is always available via WhatsApp, which proved to be very efficient, and no request is ever too much for him. A short, pleasant chat at breakfast immediately gives you great tips for excursions and there are plenty to choose from.
The suites themselves are modern and stylish, exactly as shown in the photos. Elounda is a bit of a walk away, but that actually adds to the peace and quiet of the location, and of course, you get uninterrupted sea views in return. With a rental car, you can be there in just five minutes.

It was, in a word, fantastic!! Beautiful room and view of the olive trees that have been in the family for years! The incredibly warm welcome from Stathis and his family was fantastic! Son Nikos was a top-notch taxi driver who even played Dutch music for us as a joke! His wife Ioanna prepared a delicious home-cooked meal for us on our arrival day, complete with wonderful wine. The breakfasts were delicious every morning! He also gave us a few tips, as it's a new accommodation, which was also much appreciated. If we return to Crete in the future, we will definitely return to Elounda Wave Suites! Martin & Simone

Elounda Wave Suites is not a gem, but a pure diamond! Not only the accommodation and surroundings, where everything exudes tranquility, privacy, luxury, and enjoyment with a capital "E," but also Stathis, who welcomed us as if we were staying with a friend. Always with a warm, genuine smile. Every question was answered with great attention and warmth.
We woke up every morning with a smile and the feeling of being in paradise.
Heaven at Elounda Wave Suites is truly a place on earth!

This place.. I think I fell in love.
Honestly this hotel is just perfect. Private, safe feeling, stunning view, a private pool just for you and an amazingly sweet family who run the suites. Not only is Elounda a beautiful vacation or get-awat destination, the Elounda Waves Suites are definitely what made this place feel just a little more magical.

I’ve traveled to many places, but this one truly stands out. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
The location is perfect, with a beautiful outdoor area that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. My room was spotless and very comfortable, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The pool is amazing btw!

What a beautiful place! This family-owned hotel (Suite-tell) offers immaculate rooms that truly stand out. Our suite was designed with soft oval and round details I had never seen before—so unique that I even found myself admiring something as simple as the toilet paper holder. That’s when you know you’re staying somewhere special!
The view over the bay is magnificent, and I could easily have spent the entire day lounging by the private pool. The location is excellent too: a short walk to a small beach with a beach bar, just a few minutes’ drive to Elounda town, and about 10 minutes to Plaka beach and Agios Nikolaos.
Breakfast served in the suite each morning was an absolute highlight, and the family were always on hand with great recommendations for restaurants and excursions in the area. They even offer a small collection of limited-edition wines from a nearby winery—I couldn’t resist bringing one home as a souvenir.
Elounda Wave Suites is the kind of place that makes you want to return again and again. I will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic! Very nice premium suites, extremely hospitable owner. The suites are brand new and yes, there are as few minor details that need to be finished. But the location next to Elounda is perfect, the rooms with private Pools and sea view are exceptional. I would absolutely recommend these suites to anyone looking for some high-standard adult-only quality time.

We had a great time at Elounda waves suites.
Kairos, living as a god in greece.
The appartment was perfect, we enjoyed all the functionalities, like the cool zen space at the back where we had the delicious breakfast that was daily brought with fresh fruit.
The bathroom, with the big shower and sink.
The bedroom with airco and ventilator.
The area outside with multiple lounge seats, view on the sea and coastline and the refreshing pool.
A small beach just 5 minutes walking, good spot to watch the sunset in the morning.
Stathis, the owner has a lot of good tips to explore the surroundings and greek culture.
We were blessed and thankfull to have spent this time here and meet his greek family, Yin and friendly co-workers.
